Acers and Oaks participated in an all-day history workshop on Thursday, 6 March.  This was delivered in school by Portals to the Past who are experienced educators and experts in this field.  

The children were visited by an ancient Greek hoplite, who shared his knowledge of the warring city states, the birth of democracy and Greek legends, Alexander the Great and Greek culture.  The children took part in a mixture of activities; role-play, studying artefacts and a lot of fun, to help bring the history of Ancient  Greece alive!

The children were invited to come to school dressed in period costume.`
