New Acorns September 2021

Dear Parents,

Please see our class blog page for a copy of this term's timetable and details of our first project.

On another note, please could you send your child into school with a pair of Wellington boots (named please) that you're happy for them to keep at school. The weather will start to change soon, and we need to be prepared when accessing the outdoor environment! Thank you.

Remember that our PE days will be on Wednesdays & Thursdays -please ensure your child has their PE kit in school w/c 20th September. Thank you.

Summer of Play -please scroll down the page to a new section I've uploaded giving you some activity suggestions to inspire lots of play this summer holiday (especially on those wet & windy days like today!). These are from Tapestry. Looking forward to seeing you all in September!

Miss Ireland

It was great to meet so many of our new parents both online and onsite in our outdoor classroom last week. Thank you for your time. I'm looking forward to welcoming all our new starters into school on Thursday for either the morning or afternoon slot (details have been emailed to you & given out by The Ark). Not sure what your child needs to bring on their first day at school in September? See below under 'getting reading to start school' for more details. Uniform can be purchased from our School Office between now and the end of term (23.7.21) each weekday morning. We're unable to hold a uniform shop at this time due to Covid restrictions. Mrs Hanson is away at the moment however Mrs Felton will be there to assist you.

A very warm welcome to St Nicholas Primary School. Thank you for your interest in our school. We're not currently able to offer tours of our school in line with Public Health guidance. If you would like to learn more about our lovely setting, please see below a couple of welcome messages from staff and a brief tour of the school. There is also some additional information you'll find below about the Reception year. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries. Warm regards, Miss Ireland (Reception Class Teacher)
