What an amazing group of children we have here at St Nicholas!

I was so impressed this evening by the fabulous runners at the cross country event at Shillingstone.

For many children, this was the first time they had represented the school and everyone competed with superb spirit and determination.

The added bonus was that we also did so well!

 

Yr 3 - 1st place - Thomas, Lara, Arthur, William ( note that some of these runners were actually in yr 2!)

Yr 4 - 3rd place - Ella C, Alex W, Arthur , James

Yr 5 - 1st place - Macey, Olivia, Henry, Edward

Yr 6 - 1st place - Phoebe, Percy, Isabelle, Indiana

 

Congratulations to everyone- I am extremely proud of you all.

Special mention for Alex, Ella and Thomas, who filled in at short notice and were absolutely fantastic!

 

The Results are In!

We are bursting with pride for our amazing athletics team, who excelled themselves at the annual, area tournament last week. They secured a resounding 1st place overall with many incredible individual and team achievements. Many children were representing the school for the first time and overcame nerves and excitement, whilst others enjoyed the return to competition and the personal challenges this brings.

Congratulations to all involved - what a great afternoon's entertainment you provided for parents, teachers and other spectators!
