Gardening Club Visit to Bere Marsh Farm - 13 June 2022

Gardening Club were invited to visit Bere Marsh Farm which is run by the Countryside Restoration Trust. Whilst there, they visited the newly planted orchard and measured the trees. We made some comparisons with the trees we had planted in school. Next we went on a walk along the trailway to see where Bob lives, the barn owl and also found out about some of the wild flowers growing along the path. After this we returned to one of the barns and looked at some moths before releasing them. Finally we looked at and dissected some owl pellets to find out what Bob the Barn Owl had eaten. It was all great fun!
