Works start on the creation of the new outside space for Early Years
Following our recent Ofsted report, which identified Early Years as an area requiring urgent improvement, the Trust has launched an exciting and ambitious programme of development to enhance the provision for our youngest learners.
The focus of this work is on creating an outstanding learning experience for children, both inside and outside the classroom. Significant developments are already underway to enrich the quality of teaching and learning, enhance classroom provision, and transform the outdoor learning environment into a stimulating and engaging space where children can thrive.
Looking ahead, there are exciting plans for September, when the Early Years class will relocate to a new area of the school, supported by the creation of a purpose-designed outdoor learning environment. Work has already begun, with new fencing installed during the half-term break, and further improvements are scheduled throughout this term and over the summer months.
This investment reflects a strong commitment from the Trust and the school to providing the very best start for every child, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact these developments will have on children's learning, wellbeing and achievement.
