The visit to the farm included:

• A morning farm tour in the tractor trailer, seeing what's going on at the farm at this time of year.   This included seeing the crops growing, seeing the cattle, feeding the sheep, visiting the grain store and seeing farm vehicles and machinery in the farm yard.  
• We also explored the wildflowers and minibeasts on the farm.
• We had a picnic lunch followed by an afternoon in The Hen House kitchen classroom.  This entailed linking food seen growing in the morning with an afternoon cooking and sticking activity.
